The Benefits of Hypnobirthing

Reduces fear and anxiety – Knowledge is power. By understanding what to expect and how your body works, you can approach birth feeling calm and in control.
 

Reduces the need for pain relief – Relaxation techniques help your body release natural pain-relieving hormones, making labour more manageable.
 

May lead to a shorter labour – Research suggests hypnobirthing techniques can help labour progress more efficiently. A study by Jenkins & Pritchard found that first-time mums using Hypnobirthing experienced labour up to 3 hours shorter than those who didn’t.

What Hypnobirthing Is NOT

With 16 years of experience in maternity and newborn care, I’m a qualified Nursery Nurse and FEDANT-registered Hypnobirthing teacher. I’ve supported families postnatally, worked in a Special Care Baby Unit, and trained with Love Your Birth—bringing expert guidance to help you feel confident and empowered for birth.

Upcoming Group Sessions

Group sessions run on a rolling basis and open up every 4 weeks. When you purchase a group course plan, you'll automatically be booked onto the 4 scheduled classes listed below. Each session builds on the last and follows a set structure, so it's really important to make sure you can attend all 4 dates before booking.

Unfortunately, if you miss a session, it won’t be possible to join a different group or catch up on a future date – so please double-check your availability first!
